I have it aliased so I can so it with a simple command, and it starts up and even remembers my login credentials, so it's pretty easy, but still seems like an unnecessary workaround. This is just a fair bit of work every time I start up my computer. First, I can use openvpn and manually connect. I've found two workarounds, but both are a bit janky. I'm also fairly certain that the application is named "Private Internet Access", as it still shows up in my applications menu when I load into a full DE. There is a command-line interface (piactl), but you need to have the app running for it to work. I've tried searching for pia, private internet access, etc using dmenu and rofi and it doesn't come up. Unfortunately, I also can't launch the app once I've fully loaded up. Unsurprisingly, it doesn't start up even when I check the box to start it up on launch. I recently switched to using a tiling window manager over a full desktop environment and am having issues with the app. Hi all! I've been using PIA for a while and it's been a smooth experience until now. TL DR: Is it possible to launch the app from the terminal in linux?
